Bio

I am a first year PhD Student at the University of Edinburgh. My project will look at understandings of home and homelessness among LGBT youth in Scotland. I have a 2:1 Ma (Hons) in European Studies and International Relations from the University of Dundee (2009) and a MSc in Social Research from the University of Glasgow Caledonian (2012). I have also worked as a research assistant for NHS Education for Scotland and the University of Dundee in the past. I have also gained a range of valuable skills through voluntary work at a women’s organization in Dundee, that supports women who have suffered from sexual abuse.
